Marguerite launches new Bohannon shuttle between Menlo Park and Stanford Barn

On April 16, Stanford’s Marguerite Shuttle began operating its new Bohannon line, designed to make it easier for the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH) community to move between the main LPCH campus and the LPCH administrative offices in Menlo Park.

The Bohannon shuttle, sponsored by LPCH, travels between 4100/4700 Bohannon Drive and the Stanford Barn, with stops at Caltrain’s Menlo Park station and at Staples and Safeway on El Camino Real. The Bohannon shuttle runs on weekdays between 7:26 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Each Bohannon shuttle is ADA-compliant, has bike racks, and has a capacity of 12 to 14 passengers, face-forward seating configuration with tray tables for laptops (due in early summer), and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Bohannon shuttle could be a relaxing, productive, and potentially time-saving alternative to driving and parking. It is an estimated five-minute walk from the Stanford Barn stop at Vineyard Lane to the main entrance of LPCH off Welch Road. Walking another two to five minutes will get you to Stanford Hospital & Clinics.

The print version of the Marguerite system map and schedule, effective March 2012, does not include the new Bohannon shuttle. As an alternative, the following documents are formatted to be printed on letter-sized paper:

You can access the most current versions of all Marguerite shuttle maps and timetables online from the Maps & Schedules page. If you have comments or questions, please send an email to marguerite@stanford.edu or call 650.723.9362. For commute or trip-planning assistance, visit our do-it-yourself or custom commute planning request page.
