Why is the reduction of carbon emissions important? Atmospheric greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide have increased significantly since the Industrial Revolution, leading to an increase in the heat-trapping nature of the earth's atmosphere, and likely accelerated climate change according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

How can you help reduce greenhouse gas emissions? Using alternative transportation whenever possible is a great way to reduce the amount of emissions you produce. Here are some of the great ways you can participate in and benefit from our programs.

CARPOOL

•  Receive up to $282/year in carpool credit toward the cost of your carpool permit with Commute Club
•  Reduce your commuting time by using the commuter lane
•  Contribute to the reduction of traffic congestion and air pollution
•  Get help in forming or increasing your carpool
•  Get one free scratcher a month per carpooler
•  Park in preferred front-row reserved carpool spaces

VANPOOL
