450+ bike enthusiasts attend online webinars
We offered 17 free, online webinars to help meet a renewed interest in biking and jumpstart rides during the pandemic.
6 shuttle schedule changes implemented
In response to reduced ridership and Caltrain schedule adjustments, Marguerite service changed six times in contrast to two changes in most years.
48 pay stations taken offline
Visitor parking transitioned to a fully contactless process to avoid shared surfaces and protect the health and well-being of customers.
3500+ physical parking signs updated
Parking signs on the Stanford campus were updated to reflect Stanford’s transition to 24/7 enforcement.
2200+ courtesy 'after-hours' permits issued
To support Stanford's 24/7 enforcement, courtesy permits were issued to Stanford affiliates to allow parking at night and on weekends at no charge.
2 new parking garages
Manzanita Garage and Thoburn Garage opened to serve the Escondido Village Graduate Residences and the campus community. The last garage opened on campus was Roble Field Garage in 2017.
2800+ free transit passes issued
Eligible Stanford affiliates received transit passes upon virtual request for free transit on Caltrain, VTA, and AC Transit in contrast to over 9,000 in 2019.
17 active vanpools for essential employees
We continued to offer a 100% vanpool lease subsidy for existing vanpools. Prior to the pandemic, our vanpool program had grown to 31 vanpools.
6500+ customer inquiries resolved
Our team assisted the Stanford community with its parking and transportation needs throughout the year.
700 members of the EVGR car free club
Members received incentives to help reduce parking demand near the EVGR construction worksite.
