2021-22 at a Glance

As the community returned to campus, we reinstated many of Stanford’s operations and programs, and even introduced several exciting new offerings!

570+ Cycling Enthusiasts Attend Webinars & Events 

We offered 20+ free online webinars and in-person events to help educate riders on bike safety and best practices.

New Mobile Bike Concierge Service

We introduced the newest addition to our bike team, the Petite Marguerite, a Mobile Concierge E-Bike. Its name carries on the legacy of the horse that pulled the first cart and buggy on campus in the 1890’s.

87% Electric Marguerite Miles

A whopping 351k miles were driven by electric Marguerite shuttles out of a total of 405k miles. Fun fact: Marguerite shuttles help move about 4,500 people per day.

84% Buses in our Fleet are Electric

We lowered our greenhouse gases by increasing the number of electric buses to 41 out of 49.

23k+ Active Transit Passes

23,500 eligible commuters have Stanford-issued transit passes allowing them to travel for free on Caltrain, VTA, and/or AC Transit. Visit our Free Transit and Commuter Benefits page to learn more.

13+ Active Vanpools for Employees

We continue to offer a 100% vanpool lease subsidy for new and existing vanpools. Visit our Vanpools page to join an existing pool or start a new vanpool.

Our team assisted the Stanford community with its parking and transportation needs by answering over 15,000 calls and 11,000 emails.
