How to Purchase a Long-term Parking Permit on a Mobile Device
Please note: The parking permits sold through the online ordering portal are virtual permits based on the vehicle license plate. Customers will NOT receive a physical permit. Customers who already have a valid physical permit should continue to display it until its expiration date.

Summary of the Process
After logging into the Online Ordering Portal:
- Select “Parking Permit” under the “Purchase” menu.
- Choose the “Long-term/Commuter” permit type.
- Select the range of months for your permit, and permit type.
- Assign your permit to a vehicle on your record.
- Review the terms and conditions, and complete your transaction.

Step 1: Log into the Online Ordering PortalIn the “Log in by Organization” tab, select the button that corresponds to your Stanford affiliation. Your options are:

Step 2: Upon successful login, the “Home” page will be displayed.Switch over to landscape view by rotating the mobile device.If the mobile device has a rotation option, we highly recommend switching your device to view pages in landscape mode. Most users can simply turn their device to rotate it left or right to adjust the screen view (refer to example image). This will make the next steps easier to view. |

Step 3: Select "Parking Permit" under the "Purchase" menuNote: If you clicked “My Account”, you can also purchase a permit under the "Permit" tab, by selecting the "+Purchase" button. |

Step 4: Choose the "Long-term/Commuter" permit type AND select the month you would like your permit to start.Note: If the current month is selected, the permit is valid on the date it is purchased. If a future month is selected, the permit is valid on the first day of that month. Permits expire on the last day of the selected month. When choosing an expiration date, the calendar defaults to the current month and year. If you’d like to select an expiration date beyond December, first select the arrow at the top right corner of the calendar module to navigate to a future year, then select the month in that year you'd like the permit to expire. Select "Next" to proceed to the next section. |

Step 8: Confirm that you have reviewed the Terms and ConditionsNote: By confirming, you agree to pay the prevailing rates for your parking permit, whenever they change, for the duration of your permit. You also confirm that you can stop your payments at any time. Select "Next" to proceed to the next section. |

Step 9: Confirm your order details.Select “Checkout” to apply your payment method to your order. Note: The listed cost on this page is the monthly cost of the selected permit. |

Step 10: Review your final order details, and proceed to checkoutNote: The cost of your permit(s) will be charged through the payment method previously selected (refer to step 7). If you return your permit, future payments will be canceled. The next page will display a “Transaction is pending” message. If the transaction is successful, a receipt is generated on screen (see step 11). |

Step 11: Review your receiptYou can Select Account Home (bottom left of screen) to proceed to the customer profile page to review your order history and place additional orders. Or, go to Permits to check your permit status is Active or Issued. Note: You will automatically receive a copy of your receipt via email. |
