The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting shelter-in-place order has greatly reduced the number of Stanford affiliates commuting to campus, which has prompted changes to Stanford’s parking permit program. In addition, the Stanford Commute Club Clean Air Cash program has been temporarily suspended.
This decision was made for a number of reasons, including a significant decline in parking revenue as a result of the temporary lifting of parking permit requirements for certain spaces on campus. Since Clean Air Cash is funded from parking revenue and eligibility is validated through parking permits and enforcement, the program has been suspended in tandem with suspension of ‘A,’ ‘C,’ and residential parking permits.
Winter quarter payouts covering the months of December, January and February were made in March or April based on affiliation. Eligible Commute Club members received $25 for each month they were eligible.
At this time, Clean Air Cash payments are not being recorded in the transaction section of our online ordering portal. Please check your paycheck or bank statement to confirm your Clean Air Cash payment on or near the following dates:
