The 2018 Stanford football season kicks off on Aug. 31 with a Friday game against San Diego State. Although kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m., commuters, residents, and visitors should anticipate impacts to parking and transportation all day.

Parking closures begin on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 10 p.m.

The primary parking impacts will take place near the football stadium. Cars already parked in areasĀ  that close later will not need to be removed at the time of closure. However, additional cars will not be able to access closed parking spaces or lots. Please refer to our map of the area for more information.

Impacts to Marguerite shuttles

From 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Lines X and Y will be rerouted to Campus Drive and Palm Drive. Bus stops on Galvez Street, Serra Street, and El Camino Real will be closed.

Delays are expected on Lines AE-F, C, MC, P, RP, Y and X. Lines U and DB, which are not operated by Stanford University, are also expected to be impacted.
