If you are already enrolled in the Commute Club, then your membership should continue automatically. However, if you are uncertain, we strongly encourage you to check your Commute Club status and enroll if necessary.

Please note: There is no retroactive Clean Air Cash available, so any months in which you do not sign up or renew your membership, you will not receive retroactive Clean Air Cash.

Log in to the online ordering system to check your Commute Club status.

We encourage all eligible commuters to join the Commute Club to receive up to $300 a year in Clean Air Cash or a free carpool parking permit. Two-person carpools receive a free ‘C’-Carpool permit and three-person carpools receive a free ‘A’-Carpool permit. Both carpool permit types provide preferred reserved parking until 10 a.m. on the main campus or at Stanford Redwood City.

Please note: If you are not employed directly by Stanford University or one of the hospitals, you will need to apply for sponsorship to join the Commute Club.

Clean Air Cash:

To join the Commute Club Clean Air Cash program, or to check your membership status, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to the online ordering system
  • Click the “Commute Club” tab.
  • Review your current membership, or click “Apply for Clean Air Cash” to begin the enrollment process.
  • If enrolling, accept the terms and choose a reimbursement method.
