In an effort to offset impacts to commuter parking due to construction of the Center for Academic Medicine, designations will be changed at Lots 1 and 2 and Pasteur Visitor Garage A (PGA) on Friday, Dec. 1. The new designations will be as follows:

Effective Friday, Dec. 1:

  • Lot 1: ‘A’- and ‘C’-permit parking only
  • Lot 2: ‘A’-permit and visitor parking only
  • Pasteur Visitor Garage A (PGA) - Lower Level 4: ‘A’-permit and visitor parking only. ‘A’-permit access is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please refer to Stanford Health Care’s flyer for a map of these changes.

To accommodate these change, the following re-designations will be implemented:

Location

Change

Lot 1

+ 85 ‘C’ spaces

Lot 2

+ 40 ‘A’ spaces

Pasteur Visitor Garage A (PGA)

+ 100 ‘A’ spaces

The 85 ‘C’ spaces added in Lot 1 will be converted from existing ‘A’ spaces. Alternative parking options for ‘A’-permit holders include  Lot 2 and Pasteur Visitor Garage A.

The new ‘A’ spaces in Lot 2 and Pasteur Visitor Garage A will be converted from existing Visitor parking. ‘A’-permit access is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note that disabled parking will not be changed during this parking designation rearrangement. Please refer to our Persons with Disabilities parking page for more information.  The disabled access parking policy is different at all hospital managed locations and may include parking fees.
