Participate in Pedal Together Challenge for a Chance to Win a Tern Cargo Bike

Register here for a camous bike tour on Friday, May 22 from 12-1 p.m. The tour is limited to 20 participants; you must register to participate.

Stanford’s third annual Pedal Together is here, including your chance to win the Grand Prize, a Short Haul Tern Cargo Bike valued at $1,075. Our May month-long celebration promotes cycling, fitness, and sustainability. Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or just getting started, there’s something for everyone. Participate in any of the qualifying activities below for a chance to win prizes. View the Bike Month Events Calendar for a complete list of May bike month activities.

Who is eligible?

Any Stanford Affiliate (student, staff, or faculty) can earn an entry into the drawing by doing the following qualifying activities. Each activity completed will count as one raffle entry. 

How do I enter? 

Sign up and participate in any of the qualifying activities listed below. If you complete an activity, you will automatically earn one raffle prize entry. Entries for multiple activities will increase your chances of winning, but you can only win one prize. To qualify, all activities must be completed by May 31, 2026. 

Qualifying Activities:

  1. Schedule a virtual 15-minute 1:1 Bike Chat with one of our team members who will answer bike questions and help plan your bike commute.
  2. Complete the online STARS Bike Safety Class. The interactive class educates riders on campus roadways, paths, traffic rules, and bike-friendly infrastructure.
  3. Pledge to bike any one day in May as part of Bike to Wherever Days, including Bike to Work Day on May 14. Note: Stanford.edu email required.
  4. Join an in-person bike skills class on the Stanford or Stanford Redwood City Campus in April or May. You must register to participate; each class attended will count as one entry.
  5. Full - Join a Campus Bike Tour on Friday, May 8th, from 12-1 p.m. You must register to participate;  tour limited to 20 participants. - Full
  6. Full - Join the waitlist for a Campus Bike Tour with the Executive Director of Stanford Transportation, Lesley Lowe, on May 14 from 12-1 p.m. Sign up for the waitlist, tour limited ot 20 participants.
  7. Join a Campus Bike Tour on Friday, May 22, from 12-1 p.m. You must register to participate; tour limited to 20 participants

  8. Sign up to volunteer with Silicon Valley Bike Coalition’s bike parking valet program on May 16, 17, or 19 during the BTS Concert Series at the Stanford Stadium. Note: Stanford.edu email required.
