Please keep the following dates in mind as the holiday season approaches. Parking & Transportation Services (P&TS) will have limited hours or will be closed on these dates:

Reduced hours on Dec. 7, 2018; only open from 7:30 to 10 a.m. that day

Closed Dec. 22, 2018, through Jan. 6, 2019, for the university’s winter closure
Even when our office is closed, you can still complete the following transactions online:

Limited Marguerite service
Most Marguerite service will be suspended Dec. 22 through Jan. 6, with limited service primarily for the medical center. The following lines will operate during the winter closure.

VTA will operate on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Reduced parking enforcement during winter closure
Parking permit enforcement in ‘C’, ‘A,’ visitor, and shared commuter/resident parking spaces will be suspended during the University’s winter closure from Dec. 22 through Jan. 6, with the exception of some parking facilities serving the hospitals, School of Medicine, and most residential and special zone parking.
Parking facilities serving the hospitals and the School of Medicine will continue to be enforced during the winter closure as follows:

Parking restrictions in residential lots (except shared spaces) and special zones, such as disabled parking, red zones, fire lanes, and special-permit-only spaces, will be enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Please note that vehicles cannot be left in commuter or visitor parking areas for more than 72 hours. In accordance with Stanford University Traffic and Parking Code Section 3.8 on Storage of Vehicles, no vehicle can be stored without express permission from P&TS.
