With the new virtual parking permit system we implemented, customers were able to enter an expiration date far in the future instead of being limited to the academic year. For those who chose a distant future expiration, no action will be necessary as we change to the new fiscal year.
For those who chose an expiration date in this academic year who wish to continue the permit for 2019-20, we are in the process of programming our system with the 2019-20 permits. We expect to have new virtual permits available for purchase within about a week.
We will contact current permit holders directly with instructions on how to renew permits that are expiring or have expired for this academic year. We will send a separate message directly to department contacts for department permit renewals.
Information for all renewals will be available on our website shortly after the new permit system is available.
Thank you for your patience, and please be assured that virtual permits are active immediately on the selected start date of your permit, but can be purchased before you need it.
While we wait for the system to be ready for purchase, you may be interested in referring to the following tips:
- To check your permit status, log into our online ordering portal, click on “My Account,” and select the “Permits” and/or “Vehicles” tab(s).
