Why pay hundreds of dollars for parking when you could commute for free? Starting Sept. 1, Stanford vanpools will be fully subsidized!

Visit our Carpool and Vanpool Listings page to find others at Stanford to share your commute.

How does the free vanpool program work?

Stanford Parking & Transportation Services will cover 100 percent of your vanpool lease. Each eligible member can receive up to $300 per year in Clean Air Cash. Plus, vanpools receive a free permit and preferred parking.

The vanpool must maintain at least five Commute-Club-eligible members to qualify for the full subsidy. Gas and tolls are not included, but Clean Air Cash can help with these expenses.

What are others saying about sharing the ride?

"I love the money the carpool saves me each month. I also really enjoy that I don’t have to physically drive the car each day, which means I have about an extra hour a day to work on things, read, study or nap! I’ve made some great work connections and friends."
