Until further notice, parking permits are not required to park in 'A,' 'C,' resident, or shared commuter/resident spaces at Stanford's main campus and Stanford Redwood City.
Parking for 'Z' permit holders remain in effect. However, 'Z' permit holders--and all new employees--can park in 'A' and 'C' spaces without a parking permit.
Parking restrictions in special zones, such as disabled parking, red zones, fire lanes, 'D' spaces, and special-permit-only spaces, will continue to be enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Cancel your permit
If you have a permit for April or recurring monthly permit, please follow our How to Return a Long-Term Permit guide and cancel your permit for April and beyond through our online ordering system. All commuter and resident permit holders, including 'Z' permit holders, can cancel their parking permits and park in available 'A' and 'C' spaces without a permit.
Please note that if you purchased a March parking permit, there are no refunds or exchanges.
Due to the rapidly evolving situation surrounding COVID-19, we do not have a date when parking permits will be required again. The Stanford community will be notified in advance before parking permit requirements are reinstated
