With fall around the corner, Stanford Transportation wants to ensure your commute goes smoothly. Need to ensure your long-term parking permit is active for fall or buy parking? It’s easy through Stanford Transportation’s online ordering system. Please note: new 'A' and 'C' parking permit rates will be effective beginning September 1, 2023. If your permit is already set to expire after September 1, 2023 no action is needed. The new rate will automatically be adjusted on your payroll deduction or automated recurring credit/debit card payment.
Set It & Forget It!
If you are a benefits eligible employee, no need to renew your long-term parking permit annually – extend your permit expiration to any date in the future. (Please note: annual permit increases will still apply.) Simply, set it and forget it unless you need to:
- Change your permit type
- Update/add a vehicle
- Cancel a permit
If you are a non-benefits eligible employee, have an active permit beyond Aug. 31, 2023, and pay on a recurring basis from a debit/credit card, no action is needed unless your banking information needs to be updated.
If you haven’t done so yet, why not set your expiration date far into the future so you don’t have to worry about annual renewal? Simply set it and forget it! Annual rate increases will apply.

- If you are a benefits-eligible employee with an active permit beyond Aug. 31, 2023, no action is needed unless you wish to:
- Change your permit type. Tip: Cancel/return your existing ongoing permit at the end of any month and purchase your new one starting on the 1st of the following month so you’re not charged for two permits.
- Update/add a vehicle. (Vehicles must be registered and linked to the permit to avoid citation.)
- If you are a non-benefits eligible employee, have an active permit beyond Aug. 31, 2023, and pay on a recurring basis from a debit/credit card, no action is needed unless your debit or credit card info needs to be updated.
