Paying a Parking Citation

Main content start

Stanford Transportation does not issue or dismiss parking citations. For questions about appealing a parking ticket, refer to Appeal a Parking Citation. Please buy a permit or pay for visitor parking to avoid citations during enforcement hours. If you are cited, pay your citation within 21 days of issuance to avoid late charges. The payment process depends on where you received the citation.

The SP Plus Corporation (SP+) issues parking citations for the Stanford and Stanford Redwood City campuses' residential areas, commuter, visitor, and residential parking lots and structures. Stanford’s Department of Public Safety (a division of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department) collects revenues for these areas except Stanford Redwood City, the Hoover Pavilion Garage, Hoover Pavilion Lot, and 780/800 Welch Road.
