Stanford Redwood City Campus Event Parking Options
Events, camps, and conferences are integral to the campus environment, and parking requirements must be planned in advance with Stanford Transportation. Parking is limited to specific areas, based on space availability, the time of year, other events, construction projects, the number of attendees, and other factors. To reserve parking, an event must be sponsored by a Stanford affiliate.
Employees should submit a parking request for events. For step-by-step instructions, reference the "How To" Submit an Event Parking Request.
Consider the following when making an event parking request:
- Parking reservation requests must be submitted at least ten business days prior to the event.
- If approved, last-minute requests (submitted less than 10 days before the event) are subject to additional fees.
- Cancellations require a minimum of 7 business days' notice to avoid charges.
- Students and non-Stanford affiliates/visitors will not have access to the event parking portal.
At Stanford Redwood City, spaces can be reserved for $48 per space per day, regardless of the number of spaces used. PTA is the only form of payment for reserved spaces.
Reserved Spaces: “Reserved/Tow-Away” signs will be posted, and an event voucher code will be provided. Vehicle information must be registered for enforcement purposes.
Daily Permit: Daily ‘C-SRWC’ permits are $6.50 each, with a minimum charge of $130 (for 20 vehicles per day). If there are more than 20 vehicles, the cost will be $6.50 per vehicle per day. The voucher code can be set up for attendees or the department to pay. A department PTA is required if attendees pay, and the department pays the difference if fewer than 20 vehicles register for permits. The Daily 'C-SRWC' Permit is valid at the Bay Lot and Barron Garage in Stanford Redwood City Campus on a first-come, first-served basis; spaces will not be reserved. This option is only available to SRWC departments. For Departments located on the Stanford campus, a voucher code for Daily 'A' permits will be created to host an event at SRWC for $21 per permit, with a minimum of $420 (for 20 vehicles per day).
