Resident Student Parking
Resident students who intend to keep a vehicle on campus must purchase a 'RES' parking permit in their designated area. Resident parking is divided into the following areas: West, South, East, SJ, and Escondido Village. First-year (Frosh) students cannot bring cars to campus during their first year (Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters). Resident students are not eligible for 'A' or 'C' commuter permits.
*Please note that you can only park one vehicle on campus per residential permit, and you are limited to one residential permit with a valid housing contract, except for the following:
Students in couples or family housing are limited to two long-term permits.
Students in family housing may purchase one additional long-term permit for a household employee or caregiver.
Permits must not exceed the duration of your housing contract.
Check the parking permit Quick Reference for a list of permits and to determine eligibility.
