Parking for Visitors of Resident Students

Resident student lots are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Visitors need a one-day 'Resident' permit, valid until 11:59 p.m. on the selected date. Residents in university housing may purchase as many as required.

Follow these simple steps to purchase: 

1. Visit permitparking.stanford.edu, choose your affiliation, and sign in with SSO.
2. Click the ‘Purchase Permits’ icon.
3. Choose your permit type, then select your parking permit's effective date(s). 
4. Select/add your vehicle(s), and review the Terms and Conditions.
5. Review your permit selection, confirm your email address, and proceed to checkout.
