University Resident Visitor Parking

Resident student lots are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Visitors need a one-day 'Resident' permit, valid until 11:59 p.m. on the selected date. Residents in university housing may purchase as many as required.

Follow these simple steps to purchase: 

1. Visit permitparking.stanford.edu, choose your affiliation, and sign in with SSO.

2. Click the ‘Purchase Permits’ icon.

3. Choose your permit category and type, then select the duration of the parking permit. 

4. Select the effective date(s), select/add your vehicle(s), and review the Terms and Conditions.

5. Review your permit selection, confirm your email address, and proceed to checkout.
