The main campus returns to weekday enforcement for commuter and visitor parking

There have been a number of updates to the programs and services we offer as a result of COVID-19. The list below reflects the current status of our operations.
Please note that the policies and availability of programs or services may change without notification to eligible participants due to circumstances beyond our control.
While we are providing general information to help you consider your options, your commute is your personal choice. Stanford commuters are encouraged to assess and select the option(s) that best meet their needs.

|Free Marguerite shuttle||⬤||Service is available, with adjusted schedules and routes.|
|Free Transit Passes||⬤||Free transit passes remain valid through Dec. 31, 2021. No action required.|
|Line U East Bay Express||⬤||Line U continues to be free for those with a valid university ID card, hospital ID badge, or SLAC ID badge.|
|SamTrans Pass||⬤||Free SamTrans passes continue to be available to eligible SRWC commuters.|
|Pre-tax commuter benefits||⬤||Pre-tax payroll deduction helps benefits-eligible employees save on taxes for commute-related expenses.|
|Bicycle program||⬤||Stanford’s bicycle program continues to offer resources for current and aspiring cyclists.|
|Ridematching||⬤||Free ridematching continues to be available through Scoop. However, Stanford’s subsidy is currently suspended.|
|Vanpool program||⬤||Stanford’s free vanpool lease subsidy continues to be available to existing vanpools only.|
|Zipcar||⬤||Zipcar continues to be available at discounted rates with some adjustments to promotional offers.|
|Enterprise Rent-A-Car||⬤||⬤||The on-campus branch is temporarily closed. Stanford's discounted rates for students, faculty, and staff still apply at Enterprise’s Palo Alto location.||Call for reservations at 650.843.4990 or visit Enterprise’s reservation page.|
|Emergency Ride Home||⬤||Stanford continues to offer a free emergency ride home for eligible commuters who used sustainable transportation to commute.|
|Commute Planning Assistance||⬤||Stanford Transportation continues to offer free commute planning assistance.|
|DisGo||⬤||DisGo continues to provide free service to those on campus with disabilities who need on-campus transportation assistance.|
|Commute Club Clean Air Cash||⬤||The Clean Air Cash program is not currently available and all previous members have been unenrolled from the program. The last Clean Air Cash payments were made in March or April 2020 based on affiliation.|
|Commute Club Carpool||⬤||All carpool permits have been returned, carpool groups closed, and carpool members unenrolled from the carpool program.|
|Promotions||⬤||Due to COVID-19 and a significant budget deficit, promotions are suspended until further notice.|
