Go Pass Eligibility

The Go Pass program is offered to postdocs residing off Stanford property and within typical daily commuting distances. The Go Pass program eligibility is consistent with the Go Pass program for university and hospital employees.

Qualifying for a Go Pass

Most off-campus postdoctoral scholars are eligible for a Go Pass in this program.

However, certain residence ZIP codes and enrollment statuses are excluded, so please do the following before requesting a Go Pass:

Update your local address in Axess.

Once you update Axess for address it may take up to three days for the change to be reflected in the Stanford Transportation database. Call Stanford Transportation at 650.723.9362 to ensure that your address has been updated before requesting a Go Pass.

*Confirmation of residence in an eligible ZIP code can ONLY be made by updating your local residential address through Axess, which updates the Stanford Transportation customer database within approximately two to three days. No other proof of residence will be accepted and no exceptions can be made.
