Large conferences sponsored by Stanford departments create surges in parking demand. Most weekdays, all central campus lots are filled to capacity with commuters and routine visitors. To avoid disrupting the regular users of these lots, we have arranged to provide parking for large events at outlying lots.
These locations are indicated with a pink "E" on our Parking & Circulation Map.
Visitor scratchers (which allow parking in Pay & Display lots and at meters) are available for purchase at $12 each. No need for a pocketful of quarters and feeding meters all day long!
Because the supply of parking spaces in central campus is limited,
we also have a "Special Event" scratcher for $4.00 each of which is
valid in the Varsity, Track House, Hoover Pavilion
South and Stock Farm lots. For your special
large group events, please plan in advance,
reserve a lot and purchase our Special Event
Parking scratchers from our retail counter.
