Disability Golf (DisGo) Cart Service
Disability Golf (DisGo) Cart Service, operated by Stanford Transportation, is a complimentary curb-to-curb transportation service that provides travel between core campus locations with a vehicle that will accommodate the needs of eligible students, staff, faculty members, or continuing studies students with a disability or medical condition.

Disability Golf (DisGo) Cart Service operates on the Stanford Campus within the red boundary line indicated on the map below.
Eligibility
Currently, any student, faculty or staff member with a disability or medical condition that limits their ability to navigate the campus independently is eligible to use DisGo.

Scheduling Rides
Rides are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, we encourage all users to book rides before 7 pm the day before their intended ride. We recommend that students with a regular schedule consider booking recurring weekly or quarterly rides. Priority is given to rides to class and doctor appointments.
If you are scheduling a ride before 7 pm the day before the ride, you have three options:
- By Phone: Call or text (415) 404-1059. Please provide the dispatcher with the pick-up date, pick-up time, detailed pick-up location, destination, phone number, and relevant information (e.g., wheelchair user, mobility devices, using crutches, etc.). If you choose to text, the dispatcher will confirm your booking via text message
- By online reservation form: Please fill out the online reservation form. The dispatcher will email you with confirmation.
- TripShot app: Please follow the steps below to download, install, and sign into the app. For guidance on booking your rides, refer to the following tutorial.
Please note: Your booking should be confirmed when it appears in the “My Rides” section of the app.- Download the TripShot app.
- iPhone users: Download the app through the App Store.
- Android users: Download the app through Google Play.
- Select “Stanford DisGo”.
- Enter your SUNet ID username and password and any other info requested information. Our ETA (estimated time of arrival) will arrive a few minutes after you select “Submit ride.” Stay close to your smartphone and watch for a notification that we’ve arrived.

TripShot Tutorial
Step 1
Go to Google play store or Apple App store and download TripShot. Make sure you are downloading TripShot and not TripShot driver as they are different apps.
Step 2
Once you have downloaded TripShot App and opened it. It will take you to the setup page where you must type in Stanford DisGo and click next.
Step 3
After you click next it will take you to a screen where it gives you an option to log in with your Stanford credentials or TripShot credentials. You will click on log in with Stanford and type your Student ID and password.

Once you log in you will see the options to either get on Demand ride, plan a trip, favorite certain stops, and see what stops are close to you.

If requesting an On Demand ride click on the On Demand section and enter in your destination.
Step 7
When entering in an On Demand ride and you’re getting an error saying no vehicles are available you can either call the dispatch number that pops up on the screen or you can try a different time for your ride as all drivers might be busy.
Step 8
Changed time and was able to get an On Demand ride.

Cancellations, Changes, No-Show Policy
To modify or cancel rides or update an existing ride, please call or text DisGo dispatch as soon as possible at (415) 404-1059.
No-Show Policy: Failure to appear for a scheduled ride will result in the cancellation of your remaining rides for the day. To maintain your remaining rides, please confirm them by calling (415) 404-1059.
Important Considerations
- DisGo is NOT an on-demand ride-hailing service: Rides are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We have a limited capacity and cannot accommodate all requests. To maximize your chances of having a ride, please book by 7 pm the day before.
- Be ready before your pickup time. Drivers wait up to 5 minutes at the pickup location.
- Drivers can assist passengers with getting into and out of the vehicle, upon request. However, they are unable to assist passengers from the vehicle to their destination building. If you require assistance getting from the DisGo drop-off point to a specific room or floor, please make your own arrangements for this additional assistance or contact the Office of Accessible Education (OAE) oae-contactus@stanford.edu to explore accommodations.
- Demand During Peak Hours: Trips to classes and medical appointments will be prioritized during peak hours. It is recommended that during peak hours of operation (11:00 am-3:30 pm), riders limit their rides to dining halls, residences, gyms, student union, etc.
- Alternative Transportation: DisGo has limited capacity and be unable to provide rides to requested locations at requested times on some occasions. Riders are encouraged to explore the Marguerite Shuttles as an alternative. All buses are wheelchair accessible and equipped with bike racks.

Are my rides guaranteed?
No, rides are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to our limited capacity, we may be uanble to accommodate all requests. To maximize your chances of securing a ride, please book by 7 pm the day before. Please contact DisGo dispatch at (415) 404-1059 to confirm your rides.
What is the cancellation/no-show policy?
To cancel or update existing rides, please contact DisGo dispatch at (415) 404-1059 via call or text as soon as possible. If you miss a scheduled ride, your remaining rides for that day will be canceled. To maintain your remaining rides, please call (415) 404-1059 to confirm them.
How do I use TripShot?

Can someone accompany me on my ride?
Designated caregivers and service animals are permitted to accompany the DisGo rider. However, colleagues, friends, classmates, and individuals not affiliated with Stanford University are not authorized to utilize DisGo.
Can my wheelchair be accommodated?
Yes, please choose a wheelchair-accessible vehicle if you require one for your trip. Note that there may be a delay for last-minute requests.
