Stanford Transportation does not issue or dismiss parking citations. We only issue parking permits.
Please buy a permit or pay for visitor parking to avoid citations during enforcement hours. If you are cited, make sure to pay your citation within 21 days of its issuance to avoid late charges.
The payment process depends on where you received the citation.
In the University commuter and resident lots, and in Stanford residential areas, parking citations are issued by, and revenues are collected by, Stanford’s Department of Public Safety (a division of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department).
At Stanford Redwood City, the Hoover Pavilion Garage, Hoover Pavilion Lot, and 780/800 Welch Road, parking citations are issued by the SP Plus Corporation (SP+).
You can pay your citation online at Citation Processing Center. This interactive website will guide you through the necessary steps to make electronic payments.
