Route Description
The Y Line connects the Palo Alto Transit Center with the Stanford campus, traversing in a clockwise fashion. The Y Line serves El Camino Real, athletic facilities, Graduate School of Business, Escondido Village, Tresidder Union, Campus Drive West, medical center, and the Stanford Shopping Center.
The Y Express connects the medical center via Quarry Rd with the Palo Alto Transit Center.
The Y Limited AM connects the Palo Alto Transit Center with the athletic facilities, Graduate School of Business, Escondido Village, and Tresidder Union.
The Y Limited PM connects Campus Drive West and medical center to the Palo Alto Transit Center.
FrequencyY Line departures are every 20 minutes from Palo Alto Transit Center. Service hours are 6:20 AM - 8:56 PM.
Y Limited AM departures average every 20 minutes from Palo Alto Transit Center. Service hours are 6:25 AM - 10:01 AM.
Y Limited PM departures average every 14 minutes from Campus Drive West. Service hours are 3:04 PM - 6:39 PM.
Y Express departures average every 14 minutes from Quarry Extension. Service hours are 2:56 PM - 6:18 PM.
OperationThe Y Line and Y Limited AM/PM operate on weekdays year-round excluding New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Stanford winter closure, and Christmas.The Y Express operates on weekdays year-round including Stanford University holidays and winter closure.
