Learn About Vanpooling
Stanford vanpools are free with a 100 percent subsidy for five or more eligible riders. You can ride most vanpools on a full-time or occasional basis, whichever fits your schedule. And if you're the driver, you get free use of the vehicle after hours! Save wear and tear on your car and arrive at work relaxed, refreshed, and ready for your day.
To qualify for Stanford vanpool incentives, five members of the vanpool must meet the eligibility requirements of the Commute Club.
You must renew your vanpool application each academic year and notify P&TS when your vanpool grows, changes, or ends.
Find your match with Stanford ridematching services, including our carpool and vanpool listings page, where you can view existing Stanford rideshare groups or create your own profile seeking a ride.
