Stanford Hospital & Clinics Transportation Information
Parking for patients, visitors, and employees
Patient/visitor and some commuter parking at Stanford Hospital & Clinics and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is administered by the hospitals, not by the university's P&TS office. Please visit the parking information pages on the Stanford Health Care or Stanford Children's Health websites for information on hospital parking. Hospital employees, please refer to our commuter parking page.
Center for Academic Medicine (CAM) project impacts
CAM project construction will impact parking, traffic, transit service, Marguerite Shuttle service, and bicycle routes in the Medical Center area. Find helpful links to project information and assistance on the Construction-Related Impacts page.
Marguerite bus service
Stanford's Marguerite bus service is free and open to the public, including all hospital employees, visitors, and patients. Most lines are operated by Stanford University.
Stanford Health Care operates Line BOH and Line VA, as well as the Patient Tram, as of Nov. 6, 2017. Information about these shuttles can no longer be found on the Stanford University Parking & Transportation Services website.
Stanford Commute Club
Hospital employees who meet eligibility requirements can join the Commute Club to receive up to $300 per year in Clean Air Cash or Carpool Credit and more for commuting sustainably. Check our Eligibility page to see if you qualify.
Stanford Health Care operates a free weekday shuttle service from 6:30 a.m. to 10:34 a.m. and 2:05 p.m. to 7:35 p.m. It stops at the Byers Eye Institute, the Palo Alto Technology Center, and connects to the Palo Alto Transit Center.
