Hertz Car Rental Comes to Stanford

Reserve a vehicle online or at the new campus branch.

A new Hertz Car Rental branch, located on the ground floor of the Stock Farm Garage at 360 Oak Road, is now available. Hours of operation are Mon–Fri 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.–12 p.m. Hertz representatives are on hand to answer questions and help customers enroll in the Gold Plus Rewards program. Customers can reach them at 650.876.1866.
Along with Stanford affiliates, rentals are available to Stanford students age 18+. (Please note: in Alabama and Nebraska, you must be 19+ to rent a vehicle.) Students will be asked to provide a valid Stanford ID and a major credit or debit card. Students must use code CDP#2243820 at this link to validate their Stanford affiliation.

With a reservation, you can choose from luxury sedans and sports cars to SUVs, trucks, vans and more. Starting in March, zero-emissions electric vehicles will be available at the campus branch including Teslas (which include special pricing.) 

Students: Moving? Truck and van rentals are available at discounted rates.

Select from a variety of options, including 12’ or 16’ box trucks and standard cargo vans. Be sure to use this reservation link to get the Stanford rate and enter CDP code #2243820. Hertz advises allowing a two-hour turnaround after making a moving van or truck reservation.
