ParkMobile Cybersecurity Notification to Users
ParkMobile notified us of a cybersecurity incident linked to a vulnerability in a third-party software used by the company. They have indicated that they quickly eliminated the third-party vulnerability, reached out directly to affected users, and completed an investigation concluding that only basic user information was accessed. ParkMobile has also informed us that no credit card information was accessed, and that they do not collect Social Security numbers, birthdates, or driver license numbers.
ParkMobile advises users to consider changing their passwords to a unique password as a precaution. They provide step-by-step instructions for changing ParkMobile passwords.
ParkMobile has stated that they continue to secure and monitor their systems. They are notifying affected users through an in-app notification, an email and a notice posted in the app on the ParkMobile website.
