Whether you are just beginning your journey at Stanford or are a returning student, myriad resources are available to help get you around campus and beyond. We put together the following tips to help:

  • Marguerite Shuttle:  The Marguerite Shuttle is free and open to the public - no ID required. All buses are wheelchair accessible and have bike racks. The Marguerite can take you almost any place you need to go, including the opposite side of campus and many off-campus locations.
  • Parking: Commuter and resident parking permits are now available for the new fiscal year in our online ordering system. Please note: Students must be registered for fall classes or have a 2023-24 housing contract to purchase a permit
  • Bike Resources: Biking is a great way to commute to campus and the fastest way to get around once you’re here.
  • Navigating Roundabouts: Roundabouts can be unfamiliar, but studies suggest they help improve traffic flow, decrease traffic incidents, and reduce carbon emissions. If you are out of practice or new to roundabouts, fear not. Our Share the Road webinar on Wednesday, Oct. 20, will cover how to navigate those unfamiliar circular intersections sprinkled around campus. Need help now? Read our guide to navigating roundabouts.
