Fall is around the corner, and Stanford Transportation wants to ensure you’re covered as a university resident. Need to ensure your long-term parking permit is active for fall or buy parking? It’s easy through the online ordering system. Please note: New parking permit rates will be effective beginning September 1, 2023.

If you have a permit with an end date after Sept. 1, no action is needed; the new rate will automatically be deducted from your credit card or payroll deduction.

Additionally, the university offers a variety of sustainable programs to help you get around Stanford and the Bay Area including:

• The free Marguerite Shuttle travels around campus, and connects to the Palo Alto Transit Center so riders can access public transit Marguerite Shopping Express line travels between Palo Alto Transit Center, the Stanford campus, and San Antonio Shopping Center, and connects students with affordable shopping options.
• Hertz Car Rental branch is located on the ground floor of the Stock Farm Garage at 360 Oak Road.
• Zipcar with 70 cars available at 30 locations makes our program the largest of any university.
• The Bike Infrastructure and Safety Program provides maps, classes, and information on cycling on campus and around the Bay Area.
