For May’s Bike Month 2024, we’ve pivoted from a one-day event to Stanford Pedal Together, a month-long celebration where you can bike commute or participate in other activities for a chance win a sporty Tern Link D8 Folding Bike (retails for $949.)

The Link D8 is your every day travel companion, whether your trip is exclusively on two wheels or in combination with buses, trains, or automobiles. Features include:

  • 8-speed drivetrain for all the range you need.
  • Folds in under 10 seconds to fit under a desk.
  • Rear rack and fenders are included.

How does the Pedal Together contest work? Any Stanford Affiliate* who commutes to a Stanford location from an off-campus location can earn one entry into the drawing by doing one of the activities listed below.
*Stanford residents are not eligible.

Note: Applicable forms are due by May 31 to be entered, the winner will be announced in the June issue of On the Move.

Participate in any of the bicycle-related events listed below to earn an entry into the drawing to win a Tern Folding Bike.

  • Log one bike commute between May 1 - 31.
    (Of course, we encourage you to ride as often as you’d like but only one ride will count toward the drawing.)

  • Sign up for an in person bike class hosted by Summit Mobile Bikes. Bring your bike!

  • Erin riding bike
    Ride with Erin! Sustainable Transportation Associate Erin Fieberling is an experienced bike commuter/Caltrain user and knows the best routes to get to campus.
    Join Ariadne Delon Scott, Stanford’s Assistant Director of Active Mobility, on a guided Stanford campus bike tour on May 29 from noon - 1 pm. (Limited to 25 riders)
